Really the only induction i'm pumped for tonight is Bossman's. He was a big favorite of mine throughout my entire childhood. I actually dressed as Bossman for Halloween when i was 3 or 4.

 

really enjoyed that whole show. shame about corbin's hairline and the blood on joe.

 

The blood on Joe messed the pace of the match but damn, did he look like a monster with it. Joe killed it, shame he lost.

 

Dude was out of his mind and looked awesome. Beginning of the match started so hot and just went down from there.

 

Yeah, he looked like a maniac. So good. I believe if they didn't have the ref stoppages and the blood the match would've flowed much better.

 

Going to try to watch Takeover on the network today or tomorrow, but here are my thoughts from it live.

Tag title match was great, crowd was crazy for Gable. The one botch was unfortunate, but I don't think it derailed the match.

Corbin/Aries was weak. Everyone in the crowd was confused when Aries "beat the count out" because he didn't. Crowd counted to 10 and then Aries won by a Rollup. Deflated the crowd

No words for Nakamura/Zayn

Bayley vs Asuka was fun to watch live. Hard to tell how good of a match it was live. Need to watch on the network

Joe/Balor was really strange. All of the stoppages destroyed the crowd, and the match. Will have to watch this one too, but I left the show feeling like I didn't get a match

 

Do we think the security guard spot was planned or joe just being a wild man?

 

It was my first time watching a Nakamura match and hot damn, fucking impressive.

Fun card overall. Shame about the blood stoppages during the Balor/Joe match but I was still entertained.

 

I know Ibushi was teased last night for the Global Cruiserweight tournament but if we don't eventually see him in the ring with Sami Zayn and Nakamura i'll be sad

 

I'm definitely going to need to rewatch the Zayn/Nakamura match today.

 

I already did that haha

 

Yeah I stayed up so i've already rewatched it twice lol

 

Takeover was great. that felt like what a WWE PPV should be.

 

Do you guys think Haitch could book a good WWE PPV? Like without Vince interference? I feel like there are a lot more moving parts to consider. I'd love to see it though. Some day.

Meltzer said on his show last night that Ibushi being shown on Takeover last night is an indicator he may be around for more than the GCS and may have agreed with WWE/NXT. He also says that if Ricochet/Sydal lose their IWGP tag titles next week, it's a sign he may be participating in the GCS.

 

I hope Ricochet finds his way to NXT too.

Regarding NXT, hopefully they haven't forgotten Apollo Crews. Guy oozes charisma and is talented too. He deserves better than a dark match against The Drifter.

 

Didn't Sydal leave on less than great terms?

 

He's under contract by ROH so he probably isn't leaving anytime soon

 

Watching the Ride Along episode that has Ambrose/Reigns riding together and I would absolutely watch a Network show on Ambrose.
