Did I miss this some where? Is anyone going?

I’m super excited about Stand Atlantic, Pvris, and The Maine but ticket prices and venues are pretty outrageous this year.

The venues booked compared to the bands booked is pretty laughable. Do they really think they can fill up these sized venues?

I caved and got tickets for Clearwater I got the Dance Pit option which I’m kind of just holding my breath and hoping it’s an actual pit in front of seating since it doesn’t show pit anywhere on the seating chart. Clearwater ticketing was so freaking weird.

I will also be dancing in the dance pit. It should be up front and if not, I will be sad lol

Whack how some of these venues are straight up standing GA as usual and others have seated tiering. My $96 Philly ticket ($65+$21 in fees) will be purchased at a later date for waaaay less.

I like the lineup just fine but $96 when last year was $60 all in is insane.

31 dollars in fees on 60 dollar ticket is absolute lunacy

I also got the Clearwater Pit tickets, did you receive any link at all for the print at home tickets? I only received a confirmation email but nothing with the actual tickets yet. And yes, the ticketing options were so weird for this venue.

Irvine date is selling terribly. Kinda shocked, but at the same time, is anyone willing to pay $40 cheap seats for TBS?

Yeah I was also sent physical tickets for this and was told to pick up VIP laminates at the box office day of.

Thank you for letting me know as well, so weird I've received nothing yet. I'll have to call the venue. I appreciate the information

It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

specially since that rejects/NFG tour is the same price with 4 bands that had at least scene hits, if not real billboard ones.

In Nashville you can still get tickets anywhere for this.

I went to this a few years ago at Stone Pony Summer Stage in NJ and it was actually a really great time. That being said, I think these venues are wayyyy too big for this festival and the amount of tickets still available for essentially every date confirms that suspicion.

Most of the bands at Sad Summer tour the US constantly. Im sure all bands except Head Automatica have toured the US last year, earlier this year or will tour later in the year.

Compared to All American Rejects which is their first proper tour in a while or Yellowcard which is their reunion tour playing their more iconic album. They are also competing with Is For Lovers which I feel is a better deal for your money.

If they manage to make some bands to do an album play at Sad Summer it could be more appealing I think.

The Yellowcard tour has outsold Sad Summer pretty much across the board. As much as I love Yellowcard, I was hoping to see Sad Summer sell more effectively. The huge venues and increased prices just aren't going to do them any favors here.
