I'm bummed they had to move it from Choctaw but they always have a cool lineup.

Wait, where's it at then? Because it says it's still at Choctaw.

Honestly pre sale is probably not needed for Sad Summer, there should be plenty available at discounted prices close to the date you want to go to, if the last few are any indication of the demand this year at least.

Just as predicted, all members have left D.R.U.G.S besides Craig on Shiprocked.

Just a warning about So What—the promoters posted a thread on Twitter a while back ago about how hard it is in the current musical landscape to hold an independent music festival and keep expanding it (which is typically the expectation).

Reading between the lines, it seems like they were saying they worked really hard on this year but it’s gonna be scaled down/much smaller than last year.

if that’s the case, I’m personally grateful for them being forthcoming and trying to prepare people so they don’t feel blindsided when the announcement is less than what they were expecting.

I shit on Bamboozle more than just about anyone for doing the opposite and hyping up a big nothingburger, so I would be remiss if I didn’t praise So What for trying to do right by their fans.

so when they announce it, if it feels underwhelming, try to be understanding with their socials. We literally can’t say they didn’t warn us.

I suppose it *could* still be there, but they posted a message on FB a few weeks ago that included this:

"After taking a lot of time to review the year and the way to best proceed, we decided to look around at different venue options and set ups to bring the best fan AND artist experience for 2023. This includes location, timeframe, capacity, indoor / outdoor, etc."

As @Rmourz said, I'm guessing everything is scaled down a bit from last year, and probably more like previous years where there are fewer major acts like 2Chainz.

It’s crazy that it really seems like all the stories about what a crappy person he is affected his band, but so many others get to skate by with no affect.

Has there ever been any allegations about underage girl activity from Brendon or is it more shitty comments made at certain points?

I guess they were the pop-punk band breaking up

granted I’m not a fan of the band but from
What I’ve seen out the years it’s the underage girl thing, other allegations of being a sex pest, comments he has made in the past, and just in general being a bad guy.

    I don't think I've ever heard P!ATD referenced as pop-punk.
