Saying Spurs haven’t backed Conte is a weirdly common false narrative. You have spent more since he took over than everyone bar United, Chelsea & Forest, I’m pretty sure.

The issues run much deeper. And I think trouble is just down the tracks.

Conte probably won’t stay so regardless of your thoughts, a new manager will mean more upheaval and change. I think Son has hit the wall, and Kane probably wants to go. Your ailing matchday captain needs to be turfed out but he has a decent contract.

  2. One thing that I agree with Conte is when he said it’d take multiple windows to build the squad he wants. Yes, it will. Well so far, the windows since he’s been here, we’ve added several talented players. Yet he still won’t sign an extension. And despite not signing that extension, he still expects the club to keep spending big on his targets. It puts the club in a very tough spot. As a fan, I say just spend the money. But I get their perspective of it too considering how Conte behaves.

IMO, he isn’t signing the extension until summer whether we end up spending money this month or not. It’s how he seems to operate. Leave that door open so he can sneak out if things don’t go well. And he can do so without taking responsibility. That’s the number one thing that irks me with Conte. Every presser he’s pointing fingers every direction on the problems going on right now. Absolutely never takes any responsibility himself. I like the idea of him calling out issues within the club, but if he’s going to do it he needs to have some accountability himself.

  3. Agreed. It’s time to swallow our pride and just reboot. We’ve already bought some good young prospects. Keep doing down that path. Bring in a manager that won’t complain in every single presser and be such a downer for the club. The longer we drag it out, the longer it’ll take to recover from it. Rip the bandage off and accept it.

Honestly, Potter would have been PERFECT for Spurs. Howe would have been great too.

I bet Bayern fans are relieved cause Sommer usually plays out of his skin against them.

Stamp it out. People seem to think it’s a more acceptable form of racism and it really isn’t.

Even if this really is just two people, it’s two too many.

He played a big role in the goal there tbf, pulled the entire Palace defence with him and created acres of space for Bruno

In another timeline Bruno, Eriksen, and Ten Hag would all be at Spurs. Thank fuck that never happened.

Watching United makes me so sad about what could’ve been. It’s insane how quick Ten Hag turned that team around.
