I used to hate astrology and I don't buy into it but I have come around to letting yourself get into something that is for the most part harmless fun

 

the first time I went to a sporting event I felt absolutely robbed that the music stops during play. Felt like it sucked the atmosphere out of the room.

Also everyone is leaving my job (well two people and I don’t blame them) so that makes me the most experienced back office worker and the youngsters don’t like to listen, especially one girl. Everyone is lazy, it’s so frustrating because I’m constantly picking up slack of those lazy

Idk about that. People watching videos or listening to music at a loud volume without headphones was certainly a common thing on public transit before COVID.

 

The worst is dudes who play their music out of their phone right next to you at the gym

 

Maybe, but if that were the case, wouldn't you expect the trend to decline? To be clear I have zero data, this is just based on my own life, but it definitely seems to be getting more common to me.

 

I pretty much never leave my apartment without noise canceling headphones on so I never notice that. I'm sure that's something that annoys live performers now though since today around the city you pretty much always see people with earbuds in

Someone stopped my dryer in the communal laundry and let the time run out bc the door was open when I went to retrieve it. I think it was this early 20s looking couple because I was them walking toward the laundry as I was leaving and it might have been their clothes i took out because I needed a dryer. It had 30 min left but still. Did you not see your clothes on the chair? Also don’t wait 40 minutes to come back for your shit. My petty ass will remember you and I WILL stop your dryer next time I see you

 

Ever time I go out to eat with my mom and her side of the family, she complains to the waiter and sends her food back. I cringe and am so embarrassed and just want to leave. I’ve talked to her before about how rude it is and if you don’t like your meal just…don’t order it there again. I feel bad enough for service workers as it is and I don’t want to be out with someone that makes their days worse.

 

Yeah, my dad did stuff like that when I was growing up (he's gotten better) but just hearing him on the phone complaining to people has put me in a position where I now crawl out of my skin every time my sister-in-law or brother-in-law give a service worker a hard time.

Not feeling well today, but being reluctant to take a sick day since that’ll mean missing 1.5x pay for working the holiday.

Thankfully if I don’t call in sick, I’ll be working from home so I’m able to be comfy wearing my pjs and sitting in my bed, but it still won’t be easy to push through.
