the wild thing is my dad told me to check it out because he’s a huge fan of this dude that was on shameless which I never even watched

 

Lip is the best character on shameless.

 

My dad told me he stopped watching The Bear midway through the second episode because it was giving him too much anxiety. Said he remembers working in a restaurant like that once and didn’t want to relive the stress.

 

My dad was the same. Has been a line cook most of his life. He eventually finished it, but he could not make it through his first attempt.

Just finished all episodes. I LOVED IT. Honestly I think I like the UK version slightly more due to all the contestants being non-celebrities whereas the US had a mixed group of celebrities and non celebrities. I just think there's slightly a difference in normal everyday people brand new to reality tv vs people who have done shows before. Hell I think Brandy from real housewives is on a different level than someone like Cody too. Ultimately that's ONE way to create drama, putting egos vs each other but I guess the UK version of non-celebrities made it feel more.......authentic? Hard to explain. But that was some DAMN GOOD tv.

Dialed up to 100 right from the jump lol.

 

The Netflix Woodstock movie kinda gave me the creeps because they talk about the exploitation of women showing their breasts, then constantly are showing women baring their breasts in the doc

I expected the new Velma show to get hate from the same people that got mad when Ariel from The Little Mermaid was revealed to be black. But now I’m seeing legit criticism and I’m disappointed. It didn’t look like anything mind blowing, but I’m a big Scooby Doo fan and was looking forward to it.

 

I really wanna watch the last of us but I can’t do the weekly format nowadays so I’m reluctantly waiting until the whole season is out to start lol

 

I really liked Trick Or Treat Scooby Doo from last year

 

imagine trying to avoid spoilers for this with all the gamer people

 

Are we getting any other big budget major IP event series this year besides Last Of Us, the MCU/Star Wars stuff, and Netflix's Iive action Avatar: The Last Airbender show?

I know Hulu's Alien series from Noah Hawley was supposed to be this year but that might have gotten delayed. If we get it in 2023 it won't be until very late in the year.

 

I think Benioff and Weiss's adaptation of The Three Body Problem is still coming this year.

 

Amazon might have new seasons of Incredible and Wheel of Time this year, for large IP (print) that isn’t quite as popular in their tv shows (yet).

I think Netflix also has the next season of Shadow & Bone and The Witcher.

 

Yeah so as far as the Velma series is concerned…
