I just got an Impreza in August. I like it, but may end up swapping for an EV.

 

I grew up in Munich, Bavaria and there were maybe 5 kids including myself not dreaming of driving a and working for BMW

Yeah, this would be the 2nd worst outcome after the Saudis. Tony already owns one too many wrestling companies to competently book...last thing he needs is a 3rd

 

When I bought a car last year, Subaru was completely out of stock. Ended up with a Nissan Sentra which is great for the price.

 

idk. like I think best case scenario, you get somoene like the Khans with deep pocketbooks who actually cares about wrestling and is willing to work with WWE on cross promotion stuff but isn't actually the Khans so no monopoly, everyone feels the need to make their product #1

But if they were willing to hand over the booking responsibilities to HHH and stay pretty hands off... I feel like there are certainly worse options such as a company who really only sees it for the money

This is why we dont have one now. My wife's parents got one last summer and the amount of driving around to find what they wanted they did was absurd. And the prices were laughable. Figure they'll probably come down as this year rolls along

 

I mean, we have a loose listing of potential buyers and the Khans are worse than all of them. Comcast/Fox/WB+Discovery/Disney are all media companies that can keep WWE going as it is now or even offer better options. Netflix and Amazon might change whether its on network or cable TV, but would clearly have an interesting in keeping the library searchable and weekly shows going, etc. And the smaller holding companies do UFC and Formula 1, so they'd basically be what WWE is now without Vince around.

If the Khans bought WWE, it makes both WWE and AEW worse for wrestlers because now they cant leverage one company against the other. And its a really weird choice for NBC/Fox/etc to bid on which wrestling show they'd want...even weirder than the current USA/Fox brand split. And what, are they gonna rebuild the WWE Network and feed in AEW/ROH stuff? I just dont see the value in it for Tony in any form (because if TV rights deals drop, he's doubly fucked)...and its a HUGE risk. Could straight up tank all pro wrestling.

 

Fuck man I’m all in for the Khans buying WWE because it would be so fucking funny. Need them to move Rampage to Thursday nights so we have 5 straight nights of TK coke tweeting. Followed by Saturday Fulham tweets and Sunday Jags tweets.
