I really hope we all got worked by Twitter on this. SRS seems to be insinuating as such.

 

Dumb ass TMZ just reported it’s not sold to Saudi. So someone either fucked up really bad or scooped something almost no one knew and everyone else ran with it too

 

Important to remember that these dudes still can’t figure out if Sasha showing up tonight or not. They definitely don’t have the sources for the biggest story in the history of wrestling

 

Kayfabe news has been having a field day with this and it's wonderful.

 

They claim to know. They both reported different things. Sapp said yes. Meltzer said no

 

Fwiw I don't think SRS has definitively said she's coming (but also nowhere near as dismissive as he's been on other things).

And the guy who said it was Sasha is the Dazn guy who said the Saudi deal was done

 

Take a drink anytime someone online puts the word journalist in quotation marks. I swear wrestling fans just say the same thing everyone else says and don't have an original thought.

 

I like the theory of leaking good news as a trial balloon to see reactions lol

I think it's more likely they were testing leakers rather than reaction to Saudi buying the company. everyone seemed to have gotten the same info likely from the same person. it was all coming at the same time, in more or less the same wording. I don't think vince gives a shit about the reaction it would get from anyone other than Wall Street

 

How do we know vince isn’t just trying to have someone say this to up the deals from the other bidders?
