Which, as Ive learned over the years, if you dont take WWE/Vince at their word and instead assume the most cynical option, you're usually right.

WWE's about to run the biggest wrestling event, money wise, in history. Its likely going to feature the biggest movie star on the planet paying off a years-long storyline. It'll also probably feature another few WWE-turned-movie-stars in matches as well. WWE will have as much cultural cache as it'll ever have again...and so of course Vince returns and wants credit.

There's a like 2% bit of logic where Vince is a stronger businessman than HHH/Khan/etc to actually pull off a sale...but, just seems really odd timing for Vince to force his way back in when he could have just worked in the background the same way

 

Jay is going to kill it wherever he goes. Seeing him progress over his career has been insane. Dude is so talented.

 

It'd be a shame if he went somewhere that didn't have post-match pressers. I'm half joking given the grief it's caused AEW, but damn if he hasn't done a lot of his best promo work exhausted and slumped over in a chair backstage.
