As someone who knows more about j-pop than k-pop, is BLACKPINK big enough to headline?

They can definitely headline festivals. When they tour, at least when they hit the major cities, they typically do two nights at an arena.
They're definitely a bigger draw than LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala and Jack White, all who have headlined Coachella in recent years.

In terms of quality though, I am not in the demo for this festival and honestly took me about 7 names in on each day before finding an artist that I can name a singe song for

Bieber was on one of the fake lineups but that may just be made up haha, but that would also track especially with his health issues

 

I’d never heard a BLACKPINK until today. I’m glad I’m not the only one they seem to have eluded. Pink Venom sounds like a Eurovision song, so it’s even more surprising that it’s K-Pop.. Seems surprising to me they’d be a headliner, can’t think of any other time I’d not heard of a headliner at a big fest like Coachella. Guess I’m old officially now.
