‘Conte not sleeping as he gives 120 per cent amid quit threats’ is the funniest headline I’ve read in a while.

So another layer to this bullshit the Reynas pulled...Per The Athletic, Reyna was Berhalter's best man at his wedding. Just gross.

Played well for 20 minutes and then right back to their old ways. Lovely.

Watched his Espanyol vs Barca performance and I genuinely love how mad this guy is.

Imagine how mad Conte, Guardiola, Arteta, Klopp would get towards this dude.

Just wanna say I appreciate the discussion about this. It's a fascinating aspect of being a spurs supporter. Pre ENIC we were so bad that sometimes I take for granted where we're at now (look at Everton, villa, leeds, Nottingham, middlesbrough, Blackburn, etc).

Plus we've been playing so badly that the negativity just snowballs. Really happy with today's result at least.

  18. Likewise. Yeah, that’s the perspective I try to keep as well lol but ENIC definitely gives us good reason to complain. So I completely get the criticism aimed their way.

Sarr looks like really great CM, can't wait to see him get some more playing time.

  20. Was just gonna say Sarr looked impressive as well. Would like to see him get some minutes in the cup match.

  21. Sounds like Udogie had a night as well. Him and Porro would be such a good pair of wingbacks.

I said it a lot, but Ralph Hassenhutl is a good manager who was continually undermined by a poor recruitment team at Southampton and the constant selling of his best players.

A team prone to mental fragility and collapse? Why not let elder players leave and sign even younger, less proven players as replacements? Sounds like a good idea.

Now they have gotten rid of him, they very quickly look much, much worse.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I'm fairly confident he'll go somewhere else and show himself to be a very capable coach. Southampton just seem to have had an utter lack of direction for years. Feels similar to the Pardew Newcastle era, where we just raided the French league for players we could buy for peanuts and sell for millions later.

What happened to Sotons academy? They were prolific for a good while it seemed.
