    Things have changed.

Sam Smith is teasing a tour. Some arenas (PNC Arena in Raleigh, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Gas South Arena in Duluth, GA) are retweeting.

I can see Pearl Jam hitting a festival or two in the spring. Maybe a short arena tour too.

I think it would be fun if Sad Summer lineup was like this for this year.

    Blackbear.
    Chase Atlantic.
    The Maine.
    New Found Glory.
    We the Kings.
    Four Year Strong.
    Knuckle Puck.
    Greyscale.
    Stand Atlantic.
    Meet Me At The Alter.
    Charlotte Sands.

Yeah, if Sad Summer's going to survive, I think they need to really start tapping some of the 2000s pop punk/pop rock, like Taking Back Sunday, All American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, We the Kings, etc.

that’s a weird lineup to see them on, wonder if they’ll pivot away from metal and go more alt rock this year.

Lol I thought this post was in regards to Pearl Jam and not Sonic Temple. I was like “Pearl Jam was never metal?”

They need a true headliner as opposed to the 4 rotating bands that have equal pull as unofficial "headliners". I've had fun at the 2019 and 2022 fests!

Same! I've been all three years, and even though I left early last year, I still had a good time. Probably the closest thing to Warped Tour we'll have again.

From the social media reactions, it did get better last year. But only incrementally and certainly not enough. I honestly think the biggest issue is the lack of infrastructure in the area, lack of experienced staff, etc. I'm not sure it can ever be truly fixed without downsizing the fest itself.

It got better in some ways but they deleted a lot of comments. The shuttle situation was absolutely awful, and there are only so many people who will be willing to deal with unclean porta-potties and the lack of ADA amenities. Some of their problems were willfully overlooked, and some of them can be chalked up to what you mentioned as legitimate excuses. The fact is that Slye has heavily allocated funding towards the lineup and has under-planned for decent amenities throughout the history of the festival going back to his chili cook-off (that didn't have chili). Expecting anything else from Blue Ridge won't happen.

Question, are there any spring 10/15/20 year anniversary tours? The only one I've seen that interests me is The World Is's Whenever If Ever tour, but wanted to make sure I haven't missed any.
