I checked my work calendar and found a random Friday I had no appts scheduled yet and hurried and requested that day off because im so burned out. It's this Friday and I didn't realize it would make my work week only three days long this week due to getting today off for Xmas. And then I have next Monday off cause New Years so I have a 3 day work week this week and a 4 day one next week and I'm hyped. I very seldomly take days off so its a big deal for me. I think I'm gonna spend this Friday birthday present shopping for my nephew!

We ended up exchanging gifts, ordering Thai food and watching a movie, then when the movie ended we just sat in the dark and talked for a good while. It was such a lovely time and I'm so glad we were able to get together for Christmas again this year.

a couple of years ago I quit drinking for a year and then went about a year and a half until I eased back into it in a more responsible way. I found it to be very conducive and I'm so proud of myself for doing it. lately I have been thinking that my addiction to marijuana (in one form or another and however big or small it might be at any given time) has gotten to the point where I realize I need to cut it off completely, too. I hate to do it but it's time, and I could always easily come back to it if I wanted to, I just don't want to do it right now. I'm by no means a big new year's resolution person but this is a change I hope to make in 2023. today is day one

I finally feel like myself again after a horrendous menstrual cycle. Had headaches daily for a week and felt so fatigued. Felt nice today to feel normal and have energy and be able to stretch and excercise and shower and be back on my routine. My bf even noticed the way I held myself today was lighter and i didnt seem so bogged down. Sucked feeling like trash for the holiday weekend but makes me grateful to feel myself again. Going to try to be better about my vitamins/supplements and see if that helps. If it doesn't get better I'm def demanding my doctor listen because this is bs but for today I'm grateful to feel well.
