He could still easily be booked as the rap headliner, which would be extremely lame. Booking MGK as your rap headliner instead of actual POC hip hop artists is fucked up (if that is the case).

 

He headlines like house of blues type of venues so like 1,000-3,000 and does very well

 

i mean on one hand the amount of entitled people in the comments who want like the bamboozle 2009 lineup or nothing is also just as eyeroll inducing

 

The way that post is worded... It sounds like a hip-hop artist releasing a rock album who hasn't done that yet.

Honestly, he mentioned that "look to the future" phrase again in that post though. Have there been any rumblings about Future doing that? (Building off of what @ItsAndrew posted about their NYC show coming up this week.)

Also how hard can it be to just announce a different headliner? Get on the phone with the 2 other headliners and explain the situation and give them more money or a longer set to announce earlier then planned

Also If I was going to spend $1000 plus with airfare/hotel to go to a festival when I already live in Chicago and have lolla and riot. im going to adjacent, wwwy or sick world not this shit show regardless of the headliners

food on the other hand, I’ve never been to a festival with good food and a lot of options so if he actually makes that a thing I’ll welcome it

 

One thing I’ll say, this at least confirms ticket sales are great, if you are selling boatloads of tickets you don’t get defensive or explain your thinking that many times.

But no seriously, it’s either Future or 21 Savage. Their show on Friday at Barclays Center is not selling too well, so even with the 5 month gap and 120 mile distance they probably asked to delay to avoid loss of last minute sales

 

As for his comment on hip hop artists doing rock albums, I bet that means Trippie Redd is on the undercard

My final guess on headliners is Fall Out Boy - Future - Demi Lovato

I was thinking this too for several other artists - there are probably many of them that are deliberately avoiding this entire thing.

He has 1.3 million monthly on spotify. An EDM friend said he’s a dj that has metalcore features and elements

 

He’s a big-ish EDM artist. I have no idea what he is doing on this lineup. The demographic of Bamboozle are not EDM heads.

I’ve never heard his stuff before though so I can’t comment on the music itself.

 

I just listened through his top tracks and it def sounds like it fits the mold. Like the booking doesn’t make sense cause edm kids don’t want to come and the people that wanna coke won’t like this but the music isn’t out of place
