iPhone 14 Pro models are apparently taking months for some markets.

I mentioned it in passing to the Apple guy while I was about to purchase a battery case for my 12 mini at Taipei 101 and he informed me that they had a few 14 Pros in stock (due to the size of the store and inventory is my guess).

Enjoying it so far. Really like going around the MRT without the need to bring a portable charger.

 

Fuck I forgot about that.

 

It was my favorite weather app for my Watch. Guess I'll use carrot now?

The native weather app has gotten better on iOS, but I still think it's behind the others on watchOS.

 

Been using Carrot on the watch/phone/ipad for years. I'm even grandfathered in to the lower $1.49 price for Tier 2. It's worth it for the extra watch features. I'm never leaving this weather app.

 

Same. Loooove Carrot. The watch complication, lock screen, it's the best.

I've been a Hello Weather person from the start. Haven't let it go because I love it but if I didn't use that I'd absolutely be using Carrot

 

Looking to upgrade from my 6th Gen iPad, crazy how anything in the line up starts at less than $500 and with some extra storage and folio it ends up nearing $1K.

Does anyone know if I can not share iCloud storage with just one family member? I have an Apple One plan that I'm sharing with my wife, mom, and brother. I don't want my brother using the iCloud storage at all, he's trying to get into music production so he's tearing through storage. A few weeks ago I went through his Macbook with him and showed him where to save files that weren't backed up to iCloud and thought we had turned it off altogether on there, as well as his phone, but now he's eating up storage again. He's not the brightest and he's new to Mac so I don't think he has any idea what he's doing when it comes to saving stuff lol

I want him to have the other options in our Apple One plan, just get him off our shared iCloud storage

You cannot. He may be able to select personal storage vs family storage but you can’t granularly manage individual accounts like that for apple one.

I had to sell my Apple Watch 3 in 2019 because I needed money but now I'm finally at place in life where I can afford a new one. Bought a Series 8 yesterday and I love it! I need new headphones as well and will probably go for the second gen AirPods Pro. I was initially looking at Sony's over ears but the AirPods just seem to work so nicely with my other Apple products. I know that they won't sound as good as over ears but hopefully I won't be disappointed.

I'm aware of the AirPods Max but they're still way out of my price range.

 

A lot of people switched "back" to the AirPods Pro 2 from the AirPods Max because they preferred the sound stage. make of that what you will.

 

Over ear headphones are cool for at home and all, but I typically use headphones to listen to music when I’m on the go, and after getting used to the convenience and portability of AirPods, I just can’t imagine buying over ears ever again
