Violent Night was the most fun I had in the theater all year. The crowd was great.

 

I wanted more violence

 

The beginning of the attic scene… oh my god

 

I always make sure to watch the Christmas episodes of The Office and Home Improvement every year. I think a few other shows too but can’t remember them offhand and have definitely forgotten them this year

 

Family Matters has some great Christmas episodes.

Also, it's no surprise but this season of Southside is hilarious. Honestly surprised it hasn't been canceled, it's too good to last.

 

2 episodes through Jack Ryan season 3. Don't know if the geopolitics in this make any sense. Still unclear to me if the writers understand that Czech Republic (who they are using as a stand in for Ukraine) is already a member of NATO and that they are so geographically separate from Russia that them putting air defence on their air bases would not be a major Russian concern.

 

I was thinking the same thing; like why would Russia care if the Czech Republic of all places gets NATO missiles

 

Yeah Finland or Sweden would have made way more sense for the context of this plot, not sure why they went with the Czechs.

The Russian in this show are so concerned that "the Czechs will get in bed with NATO and the Americans" I'm just like umm they already are lol.

Not totally sure about all that. But I’ll check it out.

 

First 3 eps of Alice in borderland are great

 

I’m hesitant to try live action adaptations of manga. But I have heard good things about it.

Never finished the first season of Alice in borderland. I kinda just forgot about it.

 

I like that the new season seems to be moving at a little bit of a slower pace and the games are stretching out longer.

 

I finished the first 8 episodes of Station Eleven and this show is unreal

 

I wanted to love Station Eleven as much as a lot of you do, but I never really got there

 

Finished the new season of Last Chance U Basketball. Great stuff. Really feel for these kids. Felt more compelling than any of the professional sports I watched this year (partly because my teams suck ha).

 

yeah I loved half the story but so much just didn’t work for me.
