PB&J should be considered an acceptable breakfast meal

my grandpa tipped me on to eating pb&j on bagels for breakfast. never thought much of it but people seem to think its weird

 

I don't do that, but I do make grilled cheese bagels every now and then. Literally just toast and butter the bagel, and then microwave it for 15 seconds with a slice of cheese on each bagel

 

I missed the donut talk. Love donuts. Big fan. All the flavors are good.

 

Love donuts but eating more than two is insane to me (and honestly I tap out at one). No judgement, but I know people that can (or at least could in a past life) take down a half dozen in a sitting and I'm just not built like that

That being said, I can house half a bag of chips in a sitting if I'm not careful

 

way too much sugar. but I really like plain cake donuts with a cup of coffee!

 

If I get a box of donuts or fun flavors I cut them into smaller pieces so I get a lil sampler. I used to be able to throw down a lot of donuts in one sitting but not anymore!

 

Just had a blueberry muffin and glazed donut. Delicious.

 

I had a cronut once and it gave me a terrible stomach ache so I don't think I'm ever going to have an cronut again.

I’ve never had a cronut but I remember for like 2 months several years ago that’s all anyone talked about.

 

I remember even Dunkin had them and then they just completely disappeared

 

They’re so good when made well

 

Bagels are the worlds most okay food I’ve never had a bagel that has deeply impressed me

 

No way. A bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato, red onion and capers is a top tier breakfast.

 

I confess I have never had lox I think I will change that this week

 

seems like the toppings are doing all the heavy lifting in that scenario tho and the bagel is just sitting there being ok at best

 

I guess so, but that's how you eat bagels. So yeah if you just eat a plain ass bagel it's not going to be very impressive, but that's on you and not how they're intended to be eaten.
