Back to the TV show night lineups, I remember I was so excited when Disney Channel started airing Boy Meets World. They had commercials leading up to it all summer and then had an all day marathon of episodes. Weirdly, it just so happened to start at like 8 am central on a weekday and you know what weekday that was? My first day of 6th grade. I ended up skipping the first day of middle school at a new school so I could watch BMW all day lol

My annual tradition is to watch Muppet Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve. Anything else I just sprinkle in at random.

I usually have a few Christmas movies I watch each year but I’ve had a shitty month and haven’t watched a single one. Not even home alone.

Funny how different the holiday movie discussion is here vs in the Horror Thread haha

That's so fucked. Even if they are intending to move some shows to ad-supported platforms. Like, wtf are we even paying for, then? Reality programming that appeals to Middle America? No thanks, I'm out.

On a semi-related note, I think once the new year starts I'll cancel all my subscriptions and do only one streaming service a month, switching depending on what I want to watch. I have too many untouched DVDs to be keeping up with everything everywhere all the time. Probably wanna cut back on Gamepass and Spotify, too.

I’m paying for way too many and thinking about cutting back too. Crunchyroll and YouTube Premium/Music are my essentials though.

We cut back to non 4K netflix, ad's on Hulu, got rid of Paramount and Peacock, and AppleTV. We just re-upped Disney+, and just feel like there's no way we can't have that one with our kids. Oh, and Prime we're keeping just because of the regular Prime service (but RIP 2 day shipping)

One of the greatest Christmas episodes of TV that never gets talked about as a Christmas episode is Band Of Brothers episode 6 "Bastogne" .

Just started latest Jack Ryan season; good so far. Crazy how it's plot line is in the same sphere as to what's happening with Russia and Ukraine

it sucks but I just have no desire for anything Christmas related and I usually enjoy this time of year.

Also I made a few posts in here about how I met your mother and now every other random page that pops up on Facebook is for how I met your mother.

Starting new Jack Ryan while I am also rewatching all of The Office. My living room is going to be non-stop Krasinski for days.
