Man, I love Bray and I’m all for a slow burn, but LA Knight is the one that’s looked best since the feud started. His lil promo yesterday was so good.

 

that's a good thing tho right? Both guys have looked great and being in this program with an established star like Bray is making LA's star shine brighter which is what you always hope for in a feud haha

 

Also Ricochet and Gunther just had a late contender for MOTY IMO. Insanely good.

 

Oh absolutely. I guess I’m just surprised by the restraint that WWE are showing with Bray and thought they may have moved it on a bit. Then again, the next PPV isn’t until the Rumble, so I guess it’s not surprising they’re taking the slow approach. I think a lot of fans have got used to Vince’s boredom attacks that they’re not used to things lasting more than a few weeks haha

 

I think you're right that we aren't used to the slow burn for stories to play out as much when VKM was in charge. I also think your point about the long gap between PPVs and also I think all the family stuff Bray and Bo are going through has played into the very slow burn.

The Bray stuff has always been set up as a slow burn to introduce the new character(s). I know people are frustrated with it, but you had to do some world building to make this ultimately work.

Ricochet/Gunther was fucking great. I hope run Roman/Ricochet at some point before Mania

 

Its just weird, he's been teasing stuff for what, like 4 months? Returned 2+ months ago. If he's not actually doing a match until the Rumble, thats a LONG time to get to something.

The thing FFH had going for it was it was short and sweet and worked as a standard backstage promo. A lot of the clips I've seen of this, its just kinda hokey live.

As long as something happens with the Bray stuff directly going into Rumble PPV I think it'll all be fine.

It's an awkward time of the year for something like this. Hell, hopefully he'll have a match or some actual reveal on the 12/30 show if that becomes a big deal/mini-PPV
