I just ordered Westworld season 4 on DVD, I already have S1-3. Same with when this happened to Infinity Train except on digital because S3-4 never got a physical release

Theoretically those are two different rights (CVOD and SVOD) so they stand alone, BUT HBO probably would want consistency in what they have available. Honestly though, who knows at this point

 

I'm still very confused by their motives here, because in one article I read it said these titles may all go to an HBO FAST channel that's coming next year. Residuals would still need to be paid on there.

But definitely interesting that HBO wants to create a free streaming channel.

 

Kind of disappointed some bigger names aren’t talking about this. Middle class actors rely on these residual checks. It’s clearly not his concern or his job, but this is seriously fucking with people’s’ livelihoods

 

that seems like something SAG should be rallying against/striking over

 

I know there’s something brewing with IATSE for VFX artists, I’d like to think SAG is at least talking about it. I don’t know enough about all the contracts involved to know if there’s any sort of legal lev to stand on. But I’d imagine it’ll be a huge consideration in future negotiations

 

i wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of “bigger” actors just have no clue about this. have jake johnson/ophelia said anything?

 

Not sure anyone here watched but they just announced Warrior Nun is cancelled. Second season was leagues better than the first and fan engagement was through the roof. Shouldn’t be surprised (especially after being given $0 for promotion) but still disappointed
