I agree! At this point, I would expect them to only play about 15 songs for headlining sets. I’d be happy with half of that being FC, WATT, and Jet Black, with the other half being stuff from their last three.

I wonder how the digital tickets sales of their first 2 signals live shows compared to Full Devolucion.

If there was a huge gap between them I could see what would lead them to believe people won't keep going to shows if they started playing later material

Also I don't believe Andrew has been touring with them so a lot from the last 3 albums would all need keyboard backing tracks which is a bit more complicated for show production I think?

I thought that too about Andrew, but that didn’t stop them from playing Autumn Leaves Revisited earlier this year. They used a backing track for the piano/keys in that song. Then again, they haven’t used a backing track for the piano section in A Hole in the World so who knows. I really don’t understand the logistics or thought process behind the decisions this band makes anymore lol

When I saw them in March in LA the setlist was about as good/varied as it gets with them anymore .

    5 from Full Collapse
    5 from War
3 from City (Autumn Leaves, Running From the Rain, Other Side of the Crash)
    1 from Five Stories Falling,
    1 from No Devolucion
and their Texas is the Reason cover.

If they just did a variation of that with rotating songs from the later albums I think they could keep people happy with the balance of "playing the hits" and newer stuff.

I could honestly do without the cover or any covers. They’ve routinely been doing shorter headlining sets than most bands, usually clocking in at just over an hour. I’d much rather see Thursday songs, especially considering how much they neglect their later albums. Give me something from CE or ND instead

Oh I completely agree, but they seemed to have a blast with the cover.

Seeing them tonight, putting out my energy into the universe for an Autumn Leaves Revisited performance but the chance of that is low ha. I think someone on Twitter requested for This Song Brought To You By A Falling Bomb and they responded which like....no shade to that song because it's cool but I think they've played it every time I've seen them perform so of all their songs they don't usually play why would you request for THAT one lol

  12. Yeah they play that literally every time and tbh doesnt do much for me live

I have never not seen falling bomb in 4-5 times seeing them.

I think I would consider paying full price for a ticket to see them play autumn leaves one time lol

Falling Bomb is cool, but it’s also circling the bottom of songs I prefer on WATT, let alone their discography

Although, seeing them play that earlier this year and then immediately rip into Fast to the End after it was fucking cool

If you have the chance to request a Thursday “deep cut” and it isn’t autumn leaves then I don’t think I want to know you tbh

It'd be between Autumn Leaves and You Were the Cancer for me, and I figure Autumn Leaves has a slightly higher chance of popping up since they've played it already a few times early this year so my energy is going to that lol

Unpopular opinion but I’ve never cared for you were the cancer as much as everyone else and have already seen it live a couple times. I would vote for subway funeral as my deep cut. One of their best choruses.

  18. If we’re going deeeeeeep cuts
i would pay a stupid amount of money to see them just play autumn leaves and arc lamps. that’s it, that’s the show

  19. honestly would pay regular show price just for them to riff on arc lamps for 45 min lol

And I think most of those times have been from 2016-2017

Thankfully, I’m one of the lucky few. Couldn’t believe they played it the first time I saw them at the end of 2016

heh, didn’t realize it was that uncommon. I do feel more grateful. Point stands though, gimme subway funeral.

They played that a good bit in 2016/2017. I know they played it on the spring headlining tour in 2017
