ZZ Top/Skynyrd with Uncle Kracker (lol)

 

Can't believe it's almost 2023 and Uncle Cracker hasn't done anything to cancel him yet

 

other than just sucking in general

 

Let’s go, what a killer lineup and well worth the wait for a headliner!

 

Microwave headliner? Sign me up!

 

It's really, really cool to see some of these bands jumping up to bigger venues! Especially Microwave.

 

Microwave was here in Nashville with the guy that did the newest White Reaper record so hopefully finishing up a full length for this tour.

 

Didn’t Oso Oso just headline Bottom Lounge? Also the amount of times he has been here since shows have come back is insane.

He just opened for Petey at the Metro which was his 5th Chicago show this year I think: opening for the Menz, he did WP fest, and I think a couple other tours which aren't jumping to mind here.

 

Since shows have come back:

Wicker Park Fest
Wicker Park Fest aftershow
Opening for The Menzingers
Bottom Lounge headliner
Opening for Petey

So this will be his eighth time hitting Chicago since shows returned.

There’s nothing wrong with touring a lot, it is a component of the job, but over saturation is definitely a real thing and I am afraid that may be affecting him.

 

Some rumblings we might see some Frank Ocean residencies built around a couple festival performances in spring.

Ataris So Long, Astoria anniversary tour (with OG lineup) incoming. Anaheim date popped up with Mest, Further Seems Forever and one more unannounced opener. April 8th

I mean, I'm not complaining, but it definitely makes me less inclined to go see them if I JUST did

OG Ataris playing SLA with Mest and FSF is a bill I didn't expect. If it was anywhere but Anaheim, I would be there. I hope they take this one on the road (or to a couple major cities).
