What a PPV Final Battle 2022 was. Athena! Yuta! Claudio!

 

Reading an article on The Ringer that was put up yesterday and thought it was very curious that there are still (what I assume to be) 18-wheelers with CM Punk still on them. I also see he’s still on the roster page of the website. I would have thought he would have been wiped from everything, or at least all easily replaceable graphics.

 

The Iron Survivor matches were fun. Meh on Waller winning the men's

 

watching the womens iron survivor match now. its such a convoluted concept, but legit this is the most well executed first time match i've ever seen. not only does the match rule, but all of the clocks are on full display. there's no embellishment of the time clock or the penalty clock, making everything all the more impressive

Agreed. Everything i've seen of her since I started watching again a few months back has been quite average, but she looked great in that match. The match as a whole was really well put together too, as was the men's match. Joe Gacy was probably the guy that impressed me most in that match. When given the chance, he can go. Can definitely see this match type being a yearly thing.

Overall, Deadline was a lot of fun. Bron can fuck off now, though. He's so boring. I went from being disappointed Waller won the men's Iron Survivor to looking forward to him hopefully being the one to dethrone Bron and pissing on the chips of the live crowd haha.

New Day winning the NXT tag straps makes sense too IMO. Can take them to SD, have Pretty Deadly come and challenge them on TV and introduce them to main roster audiences. Just like when Dolph/Bron had their feud. Plus it was a banger of a match. Pretty Deadly are really fun to watch.

You can see why they didn't let Isla Dawn go when they were doing the NXTUK cuts earlier in the year. She is really good in the ring. I know it helps to have Alba Fyre as her first opponent, someone who she has probably wrestled a ton over the years, but she looked really good in that match. The spooky ending I could do without, though.
