Worst moment is Ronda Rousey returning in the Royal Rumble or any time Sammy Guevara was on screen during that awful tv title feud.

Tony has already talked about Forbidden door for next year and AEW is sending talent for Wrestle Kingdom. I highly doubt it’s a big middle finger to AEW lol

 

well I'm not saying that AEW won't work with NJPW anymore and vice versa but some of the appeal of the forbidden door was that a major US company was working with NJPW - if WWE jumps in on that it's gonna be 100x a bigger deal.

 

Would be super strange for Sasha’s comeback to be at an NJPW show if she’s going back to WWE. I don’t believe NJPW would work with WWE in the way that they work with AEW, mostly because WWE would want all of their guys to go over. I could be wrong, but I just don’t see it.

 

right ultimately this is where I end up too - if Mercedes is showing up at NJPW she isn't a part of WWE anymore

 

and that AEW show where Saraya needs a mystery partner falls right in between the two WK17 dates too...

 

That would be a hell of a way to debut her. That LA show is going to be huge with the six man finals so I could definitely see it.

 

the longer Saraya doesn't announce her partner the more smoke this will get - almost to the point that if it isn't Mercedes then TK or the booking needs to make it clear it isn't her or it could get ugly.

 

I was at like 5% likely she would go to AEW but now with this WK rumor I'm more 50/50 now

I'd actually like Naomi in AEW as enhancement talent. Too much of AEW's veteran presence is just relative nobodies or fairly bland people. Like, I like Serena Deeb, but she's easy to forget. And with Statlander out, the face side of the division is really soft.

I thought it was kind of odd that they'd announce that match a month out, especially with Winter is Coming as the next show, and their usual push to make the NYE show big.

Reasonable argument that Eddie coming out with the gas can is both moments of the year.

But my vote would either be Billy Gunn turning on his kids and reuniting with The Acclaimed (it launched the biggest babyface push and most over catchphrase in the company), or Jungle Boy elbow dropping Luchasaurus off the cage. Honorable Mention to the Anarchy In the Arena match having Wild Thing playing for 5+ minutes until Jericho killed it and William Regal appearing after the Mox/Danielson match.

For the WWE side, gotta be Brock flipping the ring with a tractor. Sami becoming an Honorary Uso and Cody's pec reveal are up there.

Worst moment is between "actually Luchasaurus is a heel and squashes Jungle Boy", the coronation of Britt and Adam Cole as Owen Hart champions, and literally any moment from any Marina Shafir match.

 

Wardlow handing CM Punk the ring and MJF getting stretchered off after the Wardlow match are also contenders.
