When I heard Ubi was coming back to Steam, I knew this was going to be one of the first announcements.

 

Cyberpunk 2077 DLC is rumored to be shown off at the Game Awards tonight.

I don't think it'll be Star Wars as it's already quite a known quantity.

I played The Callisto Protocol with the controller for a bit and I have to say I enjoyed it significantly less than with mouse and keyboard.

Especially spacial awareness suffers greatly due to it being really difficult to turn a significant amount in a short time, even when bumping up the sensitivity.

 

The acquisition isn’t gonna happen. But MSFT will still probably enter a partnership with them and pay for exclusivity.

This ends up being worse for everyone. Those funds were already allocated to Xbox for the acquisition. They’ll just turn their attention to buying numerous small-medium sized studios.

 

If I still played Overwatch I'd probably switch back to mouse and keyboard because it's a team game, but for the most part I've switched to controller. FPS takes some getting used to, but fighting games and platformers especially are so much easier.
