Spotify is starting to do on-platform pre-sales. August Burns Red had one straight up on Spotify. Only a matter of time before it bleeds over into public onsale.

 

For Massachusetts/New England folks: Outdoor venue run by Bowery Boston is opening up in 2023 at Suffolk Downs. 8.5k capacity.

I suspect they might snag some of the outdoor Palladium shows and certain Xfinity Center shows so... Pretty cool stuff! Curious to see what they actually wind up booking.

speaking of tour costs, just watched this breakdown of bus costs

unrelated, but also interesting, misha talks about touring strategy at the beginning of this interview

 

I have a suspicion that European tours for US artists have never been particularly profitable but they do them in order to meet fan demands. Constrastly, US tours are still likely profitable for European artists due to the size of the country and not having to different regulations that various European countries might have.

 

I’m for sure traveling for DCFC/PS

 

Funny because I checked the Massey Hall show and can still get GA floors for it. This would put it over the top. Maybe even a 2nd night?
