  2. Fell asleep with 25 minutes left of Something in the Dirt last night lol (it's not bad, I was just exhausted). Mostly really cool so far even if I can't stop thinking about the numbers guy from The Rehearsal. Benson & Moorhead movies are constantly like 3.5/5s for me, but sometimes, I wind up liking movies like that more because it means I'm probably thinking about and chewing on them for a while.

I discovered Something in the Dirt simply by scrolling through amazon and thought, "hmm that looks like Benson & Moorhead cover art." Lo and behold.. had no idea they were putting out a new film!

yeah it didn't get the most extensive promotion lol. I found out about cos Benson posted about it directly on the horror subreddit, doing your own promo pays off I guess

also Resolution is a 5/5 smh. haven't seen Spring in years but I'm sure it's a healthy 4... Synchronic is their only one I don't love basically lol I'm a fanboy

  5. I do love Resolution, but The Endless and Synchronic didn't do much for me. Spring is definitely solid. This feels somewhere in the middle so far. But I'm digging it!

Resolution was a fun ride, but I still like The Endless more. Excited to check out SITD.

I was more excited for Resolution and The Endless based on the premise and what I'd heard than I ended up actually enjoying them. I appreciate the ambition though!

I’ve had zero desire to watch anything over the last month

BUT it’s time for my annual viewing of Anna and the Apocalypse. These songs are going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the month.

Violent night fucking RULED. I’ve been in a funk the last several weeks and the crowd for this was perfect and actually enhanced the experience. Loved it.

  17. Haha yesss. My crowd also had a good time. I laughed way too loud at the chimney kill though and felt super self conscious right after

Lol there were 2-3 times I definitely laughed harder than everyone else. I was just glad it was a good crowd overall. Such a fun movie.

  19. Likely catching that or The Menu tonight depending on what a friend is feeling. Will report back.

Started Freeway last night and had to turn it off because I was NOT in the right headspace for it.

Yeah, also trying to do Violent Night this weekend. Also want to catch The Menu too. There is just too much out there right now haha.

Yeah, its wild and also quite problematic. It was also just shocking to see Reese Witherspoon in a role like that haha

  25. Was behind a couple weeks on this thread. I have some movies to catch up on! Didn't know Smile was streaming on Paramount+ so I'm def gonna check that out.

I saw The Menu last week and it was a ton of fun.
