Oh! Maybe not. For some reason I thought if it’s in EA Play (which is included with GamePass) it’s day one. But I don’t think that’s the case. Although, you do get a big discount and can download it early (I think).

 

More of a reason to get gamepass (you already had 1000 different ones)

 

Diablo 4 is listed at $70 as a placeholder internally. That could change. But is interesting

 

I button mash and am amazed sometimes when things happen that i didnt know could happen.

 

If you buy games at full price that’s really on you at this point, even if I buy day one I never have to buy full price

It’s much easier to find games under retail for PC on day one. If you have a magical secret for consoles, feel free to share

There’s the odd $10 off pre orders sometimes through Amazon/Walmart etc but that’s about it

 

Is there some drama with the writer of Jedi: Fallen Order? I guess he wrote Dying Light 2 as well and there is some toxic behavior surrounding him.

Because games sell way less units relative to their budget

 

Movies have theater releases, artists go on tour, at the very least an author can do a reading or book signing, but games are just games. What's a typical budget for a AAA game vs a Hollywood blockbuster or MCU film?

 

Do DVD’s still sell well? I haven’t bought one in over 10 years.
