I think Blaydes is a terrible matchup for Jon

Ariel says basically: Jiri out for a year because of his shoulder, he and UFC mutually agreed he should vacate. UFC offered Glover the fight with Ankalaev but it had to be next month (the card has no title fight without it) and he asked for January but they said no. He also said he would fight in December if it were against Jan, but they said no so he passed.

I think Aljo will be able to keep pace and cardio up early on and wear out Henry. He can strike well enough, keep distance, defend takedowns and grapples, etc etc. I just see him being able to do everything Henry does, but with cardio and length advantages. I also don’t think this layoff will have done him any favors.

He really outclassed Rashad to win that belt, and that KO of Randy was something special. I'll never forget Jones choking him out the way he did, absolutely brutal.

Wish he would have retired after that Chael win. He got stuck in this weird cycle of rematches and he's way too old now. The Edwards elbow was gnarly.
