I think there needs to be a balance for sure. I just remember I posted some great YouTube stuff back on this thread on apnet and it just kept being ignored in favor of people being angry and just a bunch of articles being posted. Sometimes there's gotta be discussion too.

But when it comes to the ethnic and religious minorities of the Middle East, that's important to me and there's generally no discussion about it so I think that needs to be shared more often.

It was frustrating during the debate but put back to back like this makes my head hurt.

 

I feel like a flop cause I forgot about the debate and then couldn't find a stream. Have cspan online streams always needed a cable provider? I swear I've watched filibusters on there before but they wouldn't let me watch the debate!

 

It was on like all the major networks. Do you not have a TV? I think it was streaming on Youtube as well but not positive about that.

Oh yeah duh, of course you wouldn't have haha. It's early and my brain is not working all the way yet. Well, you didn't miss a whole lot except Trump interrupting all the time, getting mad, contradicting himself, and Lester Holt not really doing anything at all.

 

Twitter actually sent me an email that it was streaming on there. I think all the future ones will be as well

I hate when people call me "sweet" in a way that means "naive and simple" and is condescending cause it seems to happen a lot. I remember when I left my ex the police and my bank were involved and they were basically gossiping about me and asking why I was so stupid, and the bank manager told them "well she just seems really... sweet." Recently a client wanted to leave my program and told me "you seem sweet, but..." and all I heard was "you're nice and unassuming therefore naive and I'm not sure if you're capable." Idk if that's how they really feel, but it's been used on me enough that it's an instant trigger of annoyance. It's like always used as a patronizing "well she doesn't know better" way. Grr.

I just feel like that wouldn't even be a thing if I was a man but idk.

 

Is this supposed to affect any previous cases or just removes the limitation going forward?
