    hmmm

New Jamie Lenman is a bit disappointing on first listen. Not bad by any stretch, but not exciting me at the moment.

Only Jamie Lenman for me. I really enjoyed the poppier sound to these singles so hoping the album lands well with me.

Hello, it's me again. I have come modifying my previous request for genres, as I understand this is a burden.

Since Zach has come on, the list of releases has grown greatly (wonderful!), though the list is flooded with metal releases I have no interest in. May I suggest, separating the metal releases from the non-metal releases? Thank you.

You realize this also involves looking up genres, right?

    Thanks! I really appreciate it!

I would hope not much. It seems as if there is a large list of metal releases that come from a different source than all other releases. If so, then this can be easily separated. If it truly is looking up each individual release, then no, this is simply too much to ask.

It's my understanding that @helloiamzach pools his own list into what Chorus already scrapes from the net, but I don't know if these are all albums he plans to listen to or bands he's familiar with, or how he gathers his findings.

Beyond that, what defines a metal band anyway? So many bands transcend genres nowadays, trying to decide which bands a certain genre or not is an exercise in futility, IMO.
