My Spotify Wrapped is laughably inaccurate. It's saying The Beatles were my No. 5. I absolutely adore The Beatles, but I have literally never once put them on Spotify this year.

 

It's also showing three Lumineers songs as my Top 5 (????) but The Lumineers aren't in my top 5 bands listened to. Nor are two of the songs listed songs that I even really like.

 

Yeah this feels right

 

I feel like my Spotify wrapped is broken. There are songs in my playlist that I absolutely only listened two once or twice this year, and then songs missing that I absolutely played at least 10 times.

It seems like 85% accurate.

 

Best part is that I saw 4 out of the 5 live in 2022. RIP MCA

I think this is the third year I've had mwY as my top artist, but it feels especially poignant this year with their farewell. My Spotify Wrapped is always messed up because I spend most of my time checking out new music and don't get to listen to any single album that many times, so older stuff/artists with large catalogues/stuff from earlier in the year always gets a boost (see how 4/5 of my top songs are from the Underoath album). My most listened to song only had 19 plays. But it's still fun to see.

 

Agreed, I would kill for a tricot tour. I wonder why they never do it?

Same. Wrapped is always hilariously off for me. I'm pretty sure it doesn't count offline listens, which makes up a lot of my listens. It said JPEGMAFIA was my third most listened artist, when I listened to an album of his once before a Turnstile show.

 

i'm assuming covid restrictions prevented them from going overseas the last year or two. they've kinda hinted at doing it next year though
