Actually looks like a ton of fun. Definitely need to give Mario his ass back though. My man is thicc.

 

Was very skeptical of Anya, but her voice actually works pretty well in this sample. As for Pratt… I’m feeling less forgiving this time around haha. He stuck out like a sore thumb here imo

Jack Black remains perfect. I am excited

 

Legit got chills. So many cool video game Easter eggs in there.

 

Movie looks visually amazing. Somehow, Pratt found a way to even half-ass the "Wahoo!"

 

Looks fun. Think it will be pretty good.

Trailer looks good visually but man the dialog is reeking of “well that happened” energy

 

That's funny because I thought the complete opposite

 

No mention of Yoshi being in this right? Must be saving him for the sequel

 

danny devito plays yoshi its a surprise

 

there are yoshis in the trailer, but not Yoshi™

look for him in the midcredits scene or in the third act something

 

I imagine Yoshi and/or Kirby will be teased because a Mario Cinematic Universe seems inevitable this is gonna be huge

I’m all in on this movie, but this is the vibe I also got. We’ll see!

The trailer mostly got me excited to get some cool orchestrations of the soundtrack we all know and love.

 

Pratt sounds awful. What a poor casting decision.

 

Nah, make movies of The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Kirby's Dream Land, and Metroid, and have it lead up to a Super Smash Bros. movie.

Alright, they sold me on it. The dialogue is generic whatever, but I don't fuckin' care. And Peach looks better in motion. Dig all the references. Already a thousand times better than the live-action movie.

 

I definitely don’t think Pratt’s voice is as bad as some people at emailing it out to be. Also if this leads to a Nintendo cinematic universe I’m pretty sure the next film will be Donkey Kong based off rumors

 

I thought that too. I just assumed they'd make a bigger deal out of it if he does appear because of how popular the character is

 

Yoshi voiced by Michael Cera
