I feel like there was a game recently that bricked Xboxes or Play Stations. Driveclub maybe?

 

Sony exclusives bricking old and dusty systems due to them pushing them to the absolute limit is a thing.

 

Earlier this year there was an Apex update that not only made the game lag on Series X but also made the whole system lag, UNLESS you used a last gen controller. It took them two weeks to fix it. It was weird.

I feel like a lot of redditors have this toxic/disingenuous tendency to be like "Debate me!," especially in regards to social issues, like it's just a rigorous mental exercise instead of having very real consequences to a lot of people, as if having someone challenge your views is the only way to change them and google doesn't exist, and that attitude has spread to every other online platform. At its most benign, people are dumb and lazy and simply don't care about the rights of others, and on the other side of it, people are actively trying to tire you out by constantly arguing without any intention of actually changing their own views.

Not here, though. This thread is nice. Chorus is (mostly) nice.

there’s def some people on chorus who really get off on being super miserable and hating everything and picking fights and arguments left and right but it’s not near as bad as on ap.net and the outrage machine has really quelled in recent years but from 2014-2020 it was unbearable everywhere on the internet lol
