I guess maybe after long enough time away he wouldn’t have it for so long but I can’t imagine Punk wrestling in any promotion for the next 2 years(?) and not just immediately getting go away heat that might but even allow the match the happen lol. But then again that would require a crowd of 10K+ to all be on the same page and I’m sure a lot would still cheer him or be excited to see him so maybe that type of reaction would be restricted to AEW crowds but like, I can’t imagine him getting a warm reception anywhere and the crowd would definitely hijack the match

Eh, if he walked back into WWE like Cody did last year, he'd get a pop. I think there's enough tribalism between WWE/AEW fans that it would play different...but, of course the actual outcome would surely be that he flames out even harder than he did in AEW.

 

Really hoping that this doesnt end up like the last PPV where stories just kind of continued along and nothing felt like it got blown off big. Here, they at least have enough builds that should come to a conclusion tonight and start new pathways

 

I hope Hangman reunites with the Bucks and Kenny :(

Considering we're seeing Edge/Paige/Danielson wrestle currently, not too worried.

If memory serves, he also had a torn labrum before the concussion, so, decent odds he needed 6+ months off anyway.

 

He definitely had a torn labrum and was working with it

 

There’s almost been too much talk about Adam Cole never wrestling again that makes me think he is coming back tonight.

But really just hope it isn’t a life changing injury like some have been hinting at
