This is the controller I use the most. It’s great.

The D Pad on the Halo Elite controller is interchangeable with a standard “+” layout.

 

I still think the wildest is Uma Musume and Top Gun.

i love those games, the sprites and music are very charming, and its impressve how they do so much with so little. but the game is litered with gltiches.

How much of speedrunning is just glitch manipulation

 

the category that allows glitches is barely a game. its wild

 

any% speed runs can be fun to watch but it’s usually someone breaking the game beyond belief. It’s impressive tho don’t get me wrong

are you kidding me? those games are busted beyond belief. half the mechanics don’t work right, some don’t work at all, catch mechanics are beyond wonky, there’s tons of stuff

 

i dont remember any of that but then again i was 8 yrs old

 

Nothing. The glitches didn't interfer with normal/casual play.

Violet and Scarlett are immeasurably worse, but still fun.

 

Psychic type was also insanely over powered. Ghost was one of its only two weaknesses at the time and Gastly was the only ghost type line in game. It also had one ghost move which is one of the worst in the games lol.

The typing balance in that game was very bad in general.

 

And gastly line is still weak to psychic because its part poison lol

 

the problems with scarlet and violet def don’t impact actual gameplay the way the wonky broken ass shit in the originals did. slow frames aren’t the same as straight up broken types and moves

 

Yeah the gameplay and QOL improvements they’ve made in the last few years have been fantastic.

I’m only mad they ditched the changes to freeze and sleep that they put in PLA. That would have changed competitive play immensely and I think it would have been very beneficial to the metas.
