WWE hasnt been on fire since at least Danielsons title run at Mania 30

 

I mean, coming out of this PPV things seem a lot better situated. We're actually getting real womens feuds. MJF will be champ and its possible several other new AEW-made people will be getting major pushes (Jungle Boy, Hayter, Ricky Starks, Hobbs)

The Elite feuds are usually really well constructed, so them being back is good, and likewise, we've got a few other long-simmering things (Britt/Hayter, Lee/Swerve, Hook, Athena heel-turn) that might also be set in motion.

Basically, they had to invent Grand Slam out of thin air, and the follow up has kinda sucked...but the PPV actually feels the best constructed of any PPV since 2021 All Out maybe?

 

i don't super care about the outcome of any other matches saturday but if they don't put the strap on hayter and then have her beat the fuck out of britt i'm going to start a fire.

 

This is a REAL awful sign for what the pre-Thanksgiving show is gonna do though...they usually lose like 100-200,000 fans for that show anyway. Maybe it being a post-PPV show will help

 

Kenny is the greatest story teller in wrestling, the Bucks get the rub off that big time

 

Kinda feels like the right move for that whole division is Hayter winning and face-turning...destroying Britt in the process...becuase lets be honest, Thunder isnt gonna return as a face if she ever unites the belt. Also leaves room for Jade to drop the TBS belt at some point and feud with jamie at one of the 2023 PPVs.

Im much more worried they're gonna have Saraya beat Britt and then challenge for the title.

 

Oh for sure, but, they also structure their own matches so well and usually are good at building in little easter eggs to feuds. Other than Bucks v Hardys (which was just forced for whatever reason), there's not a bad Bucks feud in AEW that I can think of

 

There is no possible way Saraya looks more than half decent in the ring on Sat. I can't believe this is how they are having her first match back. She is rusty as all fuck and tbh I don't remember her being a great worker.

 

WWE has been great since Papa H has taken over

The only thing great in WWE is the Bloodline. Everything else is good to very mediocre. They just got done destroying the credibility of MITB a week ago and RAW is still very much a chore to watch in general.

Back, and wrestling probably 3 matches in a 24hr period, which is a very good idea since he has no injury history, right!?

 

Finals are happening Wednesday now, so it’ll just be two matches in 24 hours

 

Ah, thats probably smart...and helps keep the card from getting too bloated. Right now its 10 matches and Starks v Cage as the Buy-in. I imagine we get another Buy-in match as well

 

So cool that Scorp is finally getting deserved recognition these last couple years.

That top rope moonsault legdrop is still impressive as hell even by today's standards

 

So the Bloodline definitely loses their War Games match in such a manner that causes the eventual loss of the tag titles and Roman losing I assume. Either Sami gets blamed and/or Jey gets blamed and he/Sami turn at Rumble. I don’t see anyone turning in the match itself though, but the more traditional “you’re the reason we lost!” “Let me make it up to you guys!” And then the “fuck you, you’re nothing without me!” Kind of story / turn.

 

No matter how, I feel like Bloodline can’t win. Doesn’t do the Brawling Brutes, Drew and their mystery partner any good to have another loss to the Bloodline. Can still make Roman look strong without taking a pin (although I don’t recall how War Games matches work - does everyone need to get pinned to get eliminated one by one? If yes, then not so sure unless they simply have Roman almost Super Cena the Brutes after the rest of the Bloodline gets eliminated?)

 

THe match doesnt start until everyone has entered, at which point one team wins by pinning or submitting a single opponent...or if someone escapes the cage they lose
