You can still be groomed over the age of 18. It depends on a lot of different things, you can be 21 and groomed by your boss who's 40. You can be in a relationship with a member of your favorite band and be groomed. If there's an unequal level of power for whatever reason, grooming can exist. Doesn't mean it will happen in every one of those examples, but it's possible for sure.

 

I always thought of grooming being a term related to age more so than power, so this is helpful. Thank you.

Idk how many songs like 29 and Would've, Could've, Should've we get until people take these age difference relationships between young women and grown men more seriously. And I am not targeting anyone in this thread but like in general as a society. I've seen the tides shift a lot more in the right direction in recent years but I wish I was exaggerating when I say almost every woman I know has been traumatized by a relationship age imbalance like that when they were either still a minor or very freshly an adult. It is a societal disease.
