seeing Choir Boy on there is making my head spin haha. they're from here in SLC. crazy they're even on AFI's radar, let alone playing this show with them AND Jawbreaker?!

Is it just me, or is a band that plays 2000 cap clubs playing a 17K arena...pretty damn ambitious? Like I get the support is big and the album play is big, but...

 

maybe it will be lower bowl only, or something?

 

They're definitely expecting people to travel to LA for the show, I'd say, considering the enormity of it. It's definitely ambitious, but I think it's an appropriate size all things considered (on NPR).

 

The singer is originally from Cleveland and I’ve been seeing him around at shows for like 10+ years

Davey had him side stage and kept motioning to him during the show in Cleveland last week I was also weirded out haha and Ceremony brought him up to sing a song with them the other night as well. Love to see it

PNC Park is easily one of the best ballparks and has an amazing backdrop. If you are in the actual seats and not on the floor/field, the backdrop is still great during a show. Too bad the team is so dreadful.

 

can abr do anything but anniversary tours anymore

 

I mean it’s not an album play tour… unless they turn it into a 10 year rescue and restore/20 years as a band tour. I’m sure we will get a career spanning setlist

 

I really only have interest in seeing ABR again if it's a Thrillseeker tour tbh

They confirmed they'll play something from all 9 albums.

 

Most legacy acts play ~career spanning~ sets anyway during new album release tours anyway. I am fine with them advertising this as a 20 year celebration rather than giving me false advertisement of a ~new album name~ tour only to end up playing 4 songs from the album and then a bunch of the same old songs I always hear.

 

43 dates for ABR. Don't see too many 40+ date tours anymore with no multiple nights

 

Not sure if this tour has been announced yet, but a Utah show with Candy and Bib popped up for mid January.
