I bought god of war but I do not have a Ps5 lmao

 

Most reviews of Sonic say it’s far from perfect but it’s the most fun in a Sonic 3D game they have had in years.

Also, I don’t live and die by reviews. Sonic is cool in my book.

 

That is probably the lowest bar in non-shovelware video games

 

I love me some 5 minute Ratalaka games.

Really enjoying Sonic Frontiers, combat is responsive and has a nice weight to it, love the “mini” level format of the open zone where you do like a quick platforming challenge that also tests your reflexes and then get rewarded with a cool fixed camera grind loop and stat boosting points. It’s like playing all the best bits of Adventure 2 levels as a gameplay loop w/vibey ambient music.

The Cyber space levels I find are the most challenging part of the game. They’re the quickest way to progress if you’re great at traditional sonic levels. The thing I appreciate about them that others have criticized is that they’re short. This is great to me because to get all the stuff in the level in one run requires memorization and quick reflexes which is easier for me to do with a shorter level than had they been longer. Music is outstanding all around. Probably will end up my favorite sonic game.

 

This isn’t an interesting question because it’s a sonic game. You could switch out the characters and keep the gameplay the same and people would instead be saying “I wish Sonic games were more like this!” because of how distinct Sonic gameplay is.

 

new sonic looks odd agreed. like all the inconsistencies with the design and visuals add up to alot. kinda getting some dreamcast sonic vibes from it too.

my entire point is that the negative review wasn’t just overtly negative with nothing good to say and it was more than a fair assessment, dismissing negative reviews outright assigning some ulterior motive that people just don’t want to like sonic is, to be frank, some childish ap dot net shit

 

Probably won't need to wait that long if you want, multi platform single player games get price drops very quickly nowadays. Guardians of the Galaxy could be had for $30 the month after it came out.

I am kind-of sick of listening to Mick Gordon's music because it spawned so many impostors that it diluted this sound for me.

 

i watched a livestream of sonic frontiers last night and i gotta agree with sophos. probably pick it up in a few months when it's on sale, but i wouldn't pay full price for it.

Finally beat Halo Infinite. Put it down to easy and just powered through it no pressure. Seemed like the game kept going and going and going……..

“how many more symmetrical corridors and hallways and more encounters do we really need??”

 

was so excited for God Of War, loaded it up, played ten minutes and promptly fell asleep controller in hand.
