Yeah I dig it

 

Agree there are a handful of keepers here and the rest is just okay.
Midnight Rain is the standout to me but Bejeweled has grown on me a ton. Karma is a bop too. Of the extended cut tracks, Should've Could've Would've is a clear standout.

Finally listened to the Bleachers version of "Anti-Hero." The lyrics on that thing are infinitely worse than the "sexy baby" line.

 

just listened for the first time too. While I like the musical arrangement fine, Jack being on this track is a huge net loss. Lyrics, his vocals, none of it enhances the song.

 

I mean, I LOVE Roosevelt, so I’m fine with this one.

 

It’s also just not a song that makes sense thematically if you have a duet partner. That song is a total “lonely at the top” anthem. I love Jack, but he was never going to work on that particular song.

 

Are we gonna get Anti-Hero (Taylor’s Version) next week?
