If there was a way to hold people accountable without having to use social media, I bet we'd all be on the same side.

He runs The Punk Rock MBA YouTube channel. He’s basically the Needle Drop of punk/pop punk/metal/butt rock.

Punk Rock MBA is a "hardcore kid" who can't listen to any music that is anti-cop or anti-military because it "makes him uncomfortable." He's all about crypto and regularly promotes stock market apps or whatever on his YouTube videos, of which most are just regurgitated Wikipedia articles where he'll slide in a hot take like "this band stopped being popular because trends changed."

He seems to have a lot of Warped Tour metalcore and Falling in Reverse fans in his base. That about sums him. He sucks...

...And this makes him so so much worse.

I forget which shitty metal core band recently had a singer in some S.A. accusations (maybe it was Ronnie Radke, but I could be wrong) but this guy was defending him and giving him interviews after it all came out

He has said in several of his videos that he's a conservative.

To me that situation shows how far we've come in regards to people facing accountability. Dababy was essentially de-platformed while at the top of the charts & being nominated for Grammy's, a decade earlier Chris Brown got a slap on the wrist & got to keep his career. Not the same situation, & the jury's out on Dababy's future, but I'm really glad to see people aren't rushing back to support him

Deplatforming is part of it probably, but I think it’s more about him being a flash in the pan with a repetitive style who put out some of his worst music lately.

Sounds more like a Chance the Rapper situation than Chris Brown, so I wouldn’t really call it a win for accountability.

Yeah, even his deplatforming wasn't that big. The "Levitating" remix still got way more plays than the original on both streaming and the radio. Big rappers still collaborate with him. If he was still hot, I think he'd be back in full force.

Sadly I don't think it has anything to do with accountability. People just grew bored. People still love a lot of scummy rappers.

I saw a TikTok earlier from a woman who is alleging abuse from Eddie Reyes. Linking to it here, and she did name him in the comments (I have a screenshot of it). https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRx9LwgF/

  25. Not that this is what matters or anything, just having trouble remembering. He’s the one that got all weird and smug about the Jesse Lacey allegations, right? Like started posting “I’ve always known” type of stuff? Or was that a different TBS guy
