this is really gonna mess up my end of the year list

I think I listened to this like 8 times today. The heavier parts are really sick, did not expect that at first. Some of it definitely reminds me of stuff off the last Vein album.

 

I'm not too familiar with who the members are in this band, was wondering this as well.

 

It's all Vein members plus their vocalist Anthony's girlfriend Marisa. She has some solo stuff under the name MIRSY that's cool too

 

this could maaaaaaybe use one more song but honestly I really like the length, always great when an album leaves me wanting more instead of overstaying its welcome. Even the stuff we've heard (Linda Claire + the Bjork cover) sounds super fresh, Ballou's production on this is insane

 

Just checking this out and it sounds good. Looking forward to diving into it in the coming days.

 

how in the world do they make a song as good as Kiss the Ladder and then proceed to make it only a minute long

 

Man, Ballou killed it…whole thing just sounds awesome. I’m absolutely begging Vein to go to him instead of Putney for their next record.

 

Anthony produced this, would love to see them do a project together in this style

 

Even their cover of Enjoy is better than the original IMO

Damn, this record is great.

 

Was a bit bummed that the tuning for this album seemed a bit lower than the demo and there were more "hardcore" elements present than on the demo. But it's grown on me a ton over the weekend, they really balance the melody and aggression well on this. Really hoping this isn't a "one and-done" type project.

 

Yeah, this is really great. Want lots more from this project.

 

They just dropped new vinyl variants if any of y’all are interested. Low key wish I knew and held off the initial preorders since that tri color looks SWEET
