This thread being bumped makes me wish a new AM! album was on the horizon (yes, i'm aware LJG dropped two, but AM! is what i nEED).

 

Her new EP is great but the world needs a new Against Me! album.

Fired up New Wave on a whim tonight and had that "huh? ohhhhhhh shit" moment when White People For Peace played through and it all felt way too relevant again.

Also just saw Laura Jane on Sunday in Iowa which was rad. There was confetti which I'd never experienced at one of her shows before (it's not in this video though, sorry).

 

saw them on this tour, they had to cancel their original date in Pittsburgh to be on Conan so when they came back for the make up date they brought out cupcakes which just lead to everyone throwing cupcakes at each other. Still probably my favorite show I’ve been to.

 

Fuck, I miss this band. Got my copy of silverfish today, though, which is an absolute banger of an EP

 

I was just thinking about how it's been 6 years since their last LP. The world is ready for new AM!

 

Worth seeing? She’s coming here and I don’t know much of the solo stuff

 

Definitely recommend going. She plays a good mix of her whole discography so it's not just her solo stuff

 

It has been a LONG time since they toured or put out an album..........

 

Think they’re just waiting on vinyl to be done
