Watching Elon in real time try and figure out how to run a community is pretty fucking funny.

I pay for a lot of services online to extra perks/help them exist (last.fm, trakt, etc.), I subscribe to a lot of software, but I won't give that dude a dime.

At this point, kinda hope he kills third party apps so I can just stop even checking it altogether.

Feels like it makes it blatantly obvious that it’s about letting his rich buddies and dumbass nft fan base pay for more visibility

 

It’s about highlighting scams and misinformation, those are the only people who stand to benefit with increased visibility.

I voted online in our local election last week. It took 30 seconds and was the best and easiest thing ever

 

"pay to reach people" sure seems like the kind of incentive to create more seen spam, not less.

 

He never wanted to get rid of the spam or bots, he just wants a kickback from them.

I kind of get it from an evil plan perspective, but it will also make the site wholly unusable and cost 10x the amount of money it brings in.

 

my interview for the project manager position went pretty well. still vague on what kinda projects we're talking. sounds like i'd be an administrator or assistant to the Foundation President, actually.

also i may have tipped my hat a bit too much and revealed i'm a marxist. oops.
