    Seattle Seahawks

A lot of teams that want to commit 18 million to him next year guaranteed? How many contenders can even make that work?

    follow up on this:

    APPARENTLY (from these same guys)

Miami had a deal in place for Jeudy/Chubb and a 3rd for Gesicki, SF 1st, and Edmonds..........

    The rivalry is back on

Lots of RBs on the market — makes sense that none are moving. Eagles/Dolphins/Rams probably just sitting on their lowball offers and waiting for someone to play chicken and accept

That’s the GM’s problem, not mine

    Cam Akers always available lol.

MCDaniel def was the one out there dropping 5 passes through 8 games

so weird how you hate this guy

  7. Lions Dude

    Seattle Seahawks

Sure, but it is also the reason why he may not be traded. It's like the people saying Trade Aaron Rodgers, you can say it is the GM's problem there too.

when you put it this way...

    Nope. Supporter

I haven't looked at his contract at all, but there are numerous examples of NFL GM's finagling contracts in a way that it's a much easier pill to swallow, hell, whatever team that trades for him might be able to convince the Texans to pay his guaranteed money for the right pick

  12. Steelers should only be selling, not buying. But whatevs.

I’m sure Cooks would be fine with restructuring his contract with a team aiming for a Super Bowl and not the fucking Texans lol

    you got that right bruh.

I thought the deadline to do that stuff was yesterday. Also the Texans don't have the money to do it from what the reporters are saying.

  16. Lions Dude

    Seattle Seahawks

Deadline to restructure was yesterday though if you are talking about how the Eagles did something with Quinn.

    Nope. Supporter

Teams constantly "find" money to do whatever the hell they want

    see: Rams, Saints, etc

I don't mean to sound combative with you if that's the vibe I'm giving off lol but I'm firmly in the camp that the cap isn't real

Yeah I would view cap space very loosely at this point. If the Texans and another team are willing to make a trade happen, they will

Chris Grier really turned Laremy Tunsil (via the Lance trade) into Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Bradley Chubb lmao

    good lord

No I understand, the Eagles restructure their own guys all the time for example. The problem is you can't restructure a contract today that you are trading, and the Texans don't have the cap space this year to pickup the guaranteed money for next year so you probably would need to do a handshake agreement with Cooks for something in the offseason.

Its why the Eagles trading for Quinn was such a deal, they got rid of the rest of his contract and only gave up a 4th. Can't do that today.
