I wish people would get hyped for characters who are you know actually going to be in this story and not in an entirely different story in an entirely different era in the timeline.

There are tonsss of really awesome characters we are going to meet in upcoming seasons Cregan Stark, The Red Kraken, Alys Rivers, Prince Daeron, all the Dragonseeds, Roddy the Ruin, The Lads, Black Aly Blackwood, Ser Perkin the Flea, ect , speculate about the casting of those.

 

Finally watched this after being too busy the past week.

Luke sucked glad he got got

 

ringer pod mentioned an expanded role potentially for rhaena replacing one of the dragonseeds. they mention specifically it likely wouldn’t be nettles but i kinda feel it could be. they already established one track of thought that nettles is daemon’s daughter. they’ve softened a lot of the characters (notably not daemon lol) from the book, and i think they could go the daughter track but make it without ambiguity or a new character and just bond rhaena with sheepstealer

What's everyone doing in place of this show? White Lotus season 2 started!

 

Yeah White Lotus.

 

Not sure if i'm going to watch that. Season one i thought was a major letdown.

 

im glad they deleted the second but bummed we couldn’t get the first

 

I dunno I think I would have loved the second one too as a mirror to earlier in the episode when Syrax was feeling her pain with the birth.

 

I really hope the opening of s2 or at least the first part of the ep is immediately after she finds out. Where it be Rhaenerya charging up to the painted table to deploy forces/attack OR One Eye landing in Kings Landing to deliver the news to the Greens. I really hope they don’t skip the initial conflicts

 

All coming from a non book reader of course so maybe they have a really cool plan if there is a slight skip.

 

i get that, would just seem a little too “hey here’s our cgi flex to go out on”

 

Favorite scene of the season was the opening episode where the kid was running through the castle with the knowledge that the King died. Beautiful stuff

 

Not sure what my favorite scene is. I really liked both scenes on the walkway to Dragonstone with Otto

the dragon actor union is notoriously difficult to work with, so, yes sadly.

 

Syrax had actually agreed to play herself but she died so they’re actually cgi’ing her face onto a body double

 

just imagine if they used practical effect puppet or like audio animatronic dragons lol
