For the Jags, it’s either an offensive weapon, or best available lineman (an excellent swing guard who can play tackle in a pinch would be sick)

and if it’s not a weapon in round 1 then it better be multiple weapons in rounds 2-5

If there was an elite ass corner I’d take one but we honestly should’ve taken Sauce Gardner last draft and gone pass rusher (Nolan Smith?) this draft if we were gonna go that direction

The problem is they’re overpaying their shitty secondary. Rough spot to be in.

    Dolphins 2023 draft needs:

    Cornerback
    Running Back
    Tight End (Assuming Gesicki walks)
    Linebacker

    The rivalry is back on

on the one hand, the Colts’ OL is ass, but on the other hand, if they spend any more on that OL, it’ll border on absurd

Too soon for me to tell what the Eagles’ biggest draft needs will be, but defense is gonna be important with the following players on expiring contracts or guys who may be cuts:

    DT Fletcher Cox
    DT Javon Hargrave
    DE Brandon Graham
    DE Robert Quinn
    DE Derek Barnett
    LB TJ Edwards
    LB Kyzir White
    CB James Bradberry
    S CJ Gardner-Johnson
    S Marcus Epps

Jordan Davis should take over as a full-time starting DT next season, but they’ll need another DT unless they bring back Hargrave, but I don’t know that I would do that as he enters his 30s. Josh Sweat and Haason Reddick are our top edge rushers, but I fully expect Howie to draft an edge rusher in round one if there’s a guy he likes. They could use more juice there and could stand to get cheaper as well.

At LB, I expect them to extend one of Edwards or White to a multi-year deal and let the other walk so that Nakobe Dean can become a starting LB next year. I think Bradberry has priced himself out of Philly with his level of play so CB will be huge, especially considering Darius Slay will be 32 next year. They really need to get a legit young guy in there. At least they’ll still have Avonte Maddox in the slot. Then with safety, like LB, I expect them to keep one of CJGJ or Epps and let the other walk. Hopefully CGJG considering he’s younger and has more versatility/upside.

As for offense, I’m expecting holes to be filled at RB and RG as I’m assuming they’ll let both Miles Sanders and Isaac Seumalo walk in free agency. Everywhere else on offense, they have a starter under contract or a contingency plan in place (Jason Kelce and Cam Jurgens).

My order of needs right now would be:

    1) QB

    2) EDGE
    3) CB
    4) OT

    5) WR
    6) depth wherever else

My #1 overall option is pulling off an Eagles-esque trade and getting a Saints esque pick in 2024 and trading up for a Marvin Harrison Jr-esque player but all I can do is try to speak it into existence like I did with Jalen Ramsey + Myles Jack in 2016 and Josh Allen + Jawaan Taylor in 2019 :-p. Let’s hope once every three years my dreams come true lol

I also spoke the Devin Lloyd trade into existence though so maybe I already used up my luck :(

Yeah. This is right to me. MLB might be higher depending what happens with Bush. But the left side of the Oline has to go.

Stayed off twitter at work all day for the first time ever... I can't possibly have missed anything right?

I always loved Roquan, I thought for sure he was the next long time great Bears middle linebacker. But he clearly values himself differently than the Bears do. He's a very good player but wants to set the market at ILB when he hasn't played quite well enough to do so. He also has had a really up and down year this year.

I'm definitely bummed, they traded both their defensive captains in the last two weeks and moving Eddie Jackson (who is the last starter from the great 2018 defense left) and/or David Montgomery isn't out of the question. Trading Roquan is the logical long term decision, they were never going to come to an agreement on an extension. Poles' first draft class is looking good overal so I'm happy he has 10 picks to work with now. Whether he did enough to help and protect Fields and whether Fields can survive 17 games are different questions.

Eagles have two firsts, a second, a third, and two sevenths. Wish they had more in between to trade for him, unless they want to dip into 2024 picks (which I’d think the Colts would obviously want 2023 picks instead). I think he’d be a good fit in the offense to replace Kenny Gainwell. Plus, there’s obviously the connection with Sirianni

Please Eagles, get it done for Hines. Would immediately become their pass-down/two-minute back and their best returner on special teams
