Lol I don't mind dolphins fans being right. And if you'll recall, I was an early on believer in Tua. It's the digging up old tweets like there's some perfectly curated excel sheet of every tweet that didn't universally praise Tua over the last two years that I find strange lol. Like, ya'll are 5-3 and tied with the Jets for 2nd place. Maybe it isn't "we kept the receipts" time yet.

    Lets Go. Prestigious

    I get it...I do

but people were out here saying that Tua was trash, etc etc and he was NEVER trash. Was he ever THIS good? No. But like Elf said, people acted as if he was some bottom 5 QB which was NEVER true.

Football fans over-do it? More at 11. lol

That's what I find so wild about it. It's like Tua is the only young QB to ever catch that behavior. From my viewpoint, he's not. Maybe I just am surrounded by more Dolphins fans but it feels like they took that shit farrrrr more personally than Eagles fans did with Hurts or Cowboys fans did with Dad or whatever. Idk, just odd. Feels like it all hit a nerve not normally hit.

Always do the right thing. Supporter

I didn’t log them all but I definitely remembered the scores of “Stafford is the problem/won’t ever get it done” takes from many throughout his entire career so I understand Dolphins fans feeling vindicated and won’t hate too much. Tua has been great this year, I hope he keeps it up.

I mean, that's a whole different discussion. If the conversation is, are black QBs graded on a more scrutinized level than white QBs? The answer is obviously yes. But That's not really what I'm looking at. I'm more so looking at the "SEE WE WERE FUCKING RIGHT AND YOU WERE FUCKING WRONG!" That seems to be cranked up to 800x with the Dolphins fans and I don't think that has much to do with race. I chose Hurts and Dak as examples but I could have easily also included Josh Allen.

I wasn't trying to start a whole big conversation or rain on @xbrokendownx's parade btw lol. It just struck me as odd when I saw a couple dolphins fans I follow responding to old af tweets like "SEE STRANGER ON THE INTERNET! YOU SUCK!" lol

I'm not gonna dunk on people that didn't believe in Tua but it's definitely worth dunking on people who had the dumb take that he was a bottom tier QB when there's just literally no evidence whatsoever to think that

    The rivalry is back on

the stuff right now (ie. Tua >>> Herbert after 7 good game) is stupid, but in their defense, this is actually a WE WERE RIGHT AND YOU WERE WRONG scenario because most of the players you’re citing either had no real expectation before breaking out so there wasn’t much to be wrong about (ie. Hurts, Dak) or played actively shit football before breaking out and the haters were right in the moment (ie. Allen, the jury is still out on Fields)

Ravens trading their second round picks is actually a very good thing. Osemele probably the only great pick on that list with it too early to tell for 2 most recent players. Bowser is solid but injury prone.

I feel really good about our draft this year. The team around them just isn’t good enough around them. But Pickett and Pickens I are great. Leal has been a solid piece. And even UDFA Warren is showing up when he needs to.

Davis has been playing a crucial role for them in odd fronts as one of their most important rotational players and has been dominant at it. Just because he’s not playing close to 100% of the snaps doesn’t mean he’s just been “okay.” It’s not his fault the Eagles have been so dominant that teams are mostly passing on them in the second halves of games. Him getting hurt and being projected to miss 4-6 games shouldn’t be a knock against him either. The injury doesn’t take away from his first month and a half of the season

Also think it’s unfair to hold it against Jurgens and Dean as being backups when Kelce is arguably the best center in football and the Eagles have gotten good LB play out of both Edwards and White

Just weird that their draft class was praised and now is getting dinged when expectations didn’t really change. Davis was never going to be a full-time player in year one and Jurgens was always going to be a backup. Dean is really the only surprise, but it was also surprising that he fell to the third round so they’re just letting him develop as a backup for now
