Where the Lines Overlap is a really fun song. however, and i might be burned at the stakes for this, but i really dont like it in the context of BNE. never understood why it came after looking up when they're so similar in subject matter

Yeah it’s one of the less dark tracks on the album for sure.

 

I like both Looking Up and WTLO but I do think they’re a tad on the nose with their subject matter. I also think the back half of BNE is a little weaker than the front half given how Feeling Sorry, Looking Up, and WTLO all kind of do the same thing.

Still my second favorite Paramore album.

Saw Paramore at WWWY last night. They might not be my favorite band but they were far and away the best sounding band of the day. Always impressed by Hayley's stage presence and vocal ability live. Very fun.

 

Careful is the best song on BNE by a country mile. Absolute beast of an opener

Hayley as Chucky tonight

 

I love how much fun Hayley seems to be having this tour. She's just an absolute ball of energy, and she is so earnest and passionate in her interaction with the audience.

 

If anyone is in Arizona….Paramore is going to open for Taylor Swift on the first night of her stadium tour next year

 

I NEED to be there. I WILL be there.

 

I had already been discussing going to Nashville with some friends for the phoebe date but we are now team Arizona. I have no choice but to be there

 

I'll be frank. This single is kinda not really hitting the mark for me. I liked it initially but it's been getting decent radio play here and i'll just say it's not my favorite. Paramore has far exceeded any expectations by a trillion miles and there's very few bands out there that have legit had ZERO misses in a career. Truly astounding.

But this is probably my least favorite single since Now.

 

I love Now though.. and I love This Is Why lol

booooo. I can see why people might dislike it but I think this is a take that was echoed chambered during the era and people haven’t given a proper chance since. The hook rules, there’s a lot of neat production stuff going on, the guitar riff is great in both the verses and pre chorus, and it’s absolutely huge live. Love it when Taylor switches over to the drums during the second verse live and the rhythm guitar switches over to the lead to cover for him seamlessly. only thing that could make this song better is if it kept the live intro

 

wasn't a huge fan of Now when it came out and it's still one of my least favourites on the self-titled but I've grown to like it a lot and there's some really fantastic moments.

 

imo the clear worst paramore songs are the ones on Riot! w/ outside co-writes
